Client: St. Vincents Hospital
Redevelopment of the St. Vincent’s Hospital site required a broad range of fire safety expertise for the expanding hospital. MSA’s specialist understanding of the specific fire design requirements in hospital design as occupants may not be able to response and make their way to safety without staff assistance. The use of a performance based fire engineered design to achieve the design achieves optimum functional efficiencies and flexibility.
MSA’s specialist Building Fire Safety Management Team developed emergency evacuation management plans strategies for the hospital. Read more on Building Fire Safety Management.
MSA provided fire and evacuation training for staff to enable these strategies be implemented correctly. These Emergency management plans enable the Client comply with current Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
